Michael joined SOBA with over 8 years of experience as a Residential Manager for a MHMR facility. He has been with SOBA since opening in 2014 and has been an invaluable member of our operations team. Michael provides direction to all direct care staff to ensure the best care for our clients. He has a genuine passion for serving those in need.
Alicia comes to Soba Texas as our Operations Manager for our Sober Living. She has a proven conviction and compassion in the recovery arena with her experience working with different levels of care.
She is a gifted small group facilitator and is able to connect to the wounded spirit. Alicia brings to the Soba team many years of working in the industry, dedication to helping those who suffer with addiction, is a prolific public speaker, and empowers others to be their best.
Alejandro De La Torre has been cooking exceptional meals for over 20 years. He is a graduate of the world famous Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts.
Alejandro, not only prepares delectable meals, he also teaches nutrition through his food. His curiosity and knowledge are always growing.
Jason has been with SOBA since September 2014, and although he is not in recovery, his heart for helping others is evident in his dedication to the clients.Prior to working for Soba, Jason worked at Haven for Hope, one of the largest homeless shelters in the U.S. At Haven for Hope Jason was a Life Safety Officer and Residential Tech for almost 5 years. His time at Haven instilled in him the
desire to support others as they work towards their goals of transformation.
Jeremy has been with SOBA Texas since September 2014. He has been in recovery for over 7 years and is happy to be working in a recovery environment. He enjoys his job and takes pride in helping others to gain experience, hope and strength. Jeremy also enjoys spending quality time with his 2 children. “I love what I do and do what I love.” -Jeremy
For over a year, Leslie has been a Lead Tech for the weekend team at our sober living apartments. She has been an active member of the recovery community for the past three years and finds great joy in sharing her journey of healing with clients. She also finds purpose in helping to guide and serve them on their own path of recovery.
Michelle comes to the Soba Texas team with over 5 years of experience working with non-profit recovery organizations. She is a recent graduate of Texas A&M University San Antonio. Michelle is an active member in the recovery community and has service commitments for a local non-profit sober living. Her hope is to show through her own experiences that recovery is possible.
